Story Bridge Day Climb

One of only a handful of bridge climbs in the world, Brisbane's Story Bridge Climb is a must do tour when visiting the city.

Boasting breathtaking 360 degree views of Queensland's capital you'll take in an extraordinary panorama including Moreton Bay, the Brisbane River, Southbank and more.

The day begins with a short briefing under the Story Bridge before ascending to the start of the climb. You'll be connected to the climb line for the entirety of the tour as you climb to the base of the southern pylon. Along route listen to an informative commentary about the history of the Story Bridge and Brisbane.

From the southern pylon you'll climb up through the inner Eastern bridge arm, climbing level with one of Brisbane’s busiest commute points and then ascending straight up the south-eastern cantilever arm that stretches over the Brisbane River and up into the sky.

Then you're there, standing on the summit platform. Get your bearings and take in the view! Your guide will point out some of the highlights.

Before heading down you’ll explore the bridge further, travelling about half-way across the river before returning to the platform for a photo before descending.
